Join Our Team
If you have a question which is not answered in this section, please contact us. 1. How do I join the broadcast team? There are three ways to join our broadcast team. You can be in the Elective Class which meets daily during school. Our Elective class creates shows, promotions, and manages the station. Talk to your counselor to make a change to your class schedule. You could join our Lunch Club, just come to room 305 during lunch and speak with our Station Manager, Andrew Shrader. Our After School club meets on Thursdays from 2:10-3:30 p.m. You can sign up for the After-School Club with the Muirlands Foundation twice a year or just come by our classroom for a registration form anytime. Our Club meets all year and costs $12.50 a class. Be a part of our team and join us at any of our meeting time. 2. When does the Lunch Club meet? It meets every day Monday, through Friday, students have about 15 minutes to eat lunch and then they can sign-up for studios and record their own shows or work on station business. 3. What is the difference between the Lunch Club, After-School Club and the Elective. The students in all of the classes learn about broadcasting and produce their own shows. The Elective is for 7th and 8th grade students. It meets every day of the week for an hour during 4th peroid. The Lunch Club and After-School Club is for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
